Bob Wilson
Bob was born in North Platte, Nebraska on October 12, 1950. He is third in line of eight siblings. At the age of 3 years the family moved to Sioux City, Iowa where they lived until relocating to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1964.

After high school, Bob apprenticed as a sign painter and started his own sign shop and commercial art business in Tulsa.

He moved to Omaha in 1983 and started Wilson Custom Design Tile Company. Wilson Tile designs and fabricates architectural details, such as murals, fountains, furnishings and structural elements featuring materials such as high-fired clay, bronze and glass. 

Wilson's client base extends to a national audience and includes Boys Town, Mayo Clinic, Henry Doorly Zoo, and many University, Municipality and Church projects. Bob creates many designs for projects at Wilson Custom Tile, and is the major fabricator and sculptor for Wilson Tile, as well as a fine painter in oil and fresco.

In 1999 Bob was a principal member in forming the Guild by Association, a limited partnership founded to purchase, renovate and administer the Hot Shops Art Center. He served as President and managing partner of the Hot Shops Project for six years.

Beth Davis
Beth graduated from Omaha Central High School in 1973. She studied Art and Art Education at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. 

Beth launched into her art career as an artist for the Omaha Public Schools Reading Resource Center while attending classes. She also worked as a cartographer for the University of Nebraska at Omaha Geography/Geology Department.

In 1982 Beth was hired as the graphic artist for the Henry Doorly Zoo where she was responsible for development of graphics, which included research, writing, photography, illustration and design. As the job grew Beth was allowed to hire additional artists and was made the supervisor of the graphics department.

She met Bob Wilson at Wilson Custom Design Tile Co. in 1991 during the building of the Lied Jungle at the zoo. She began working for Wilson Tile in 1994. Beth creates designs for many projects at Wilson Custom Tile, including murals, tile floor patterns, tile designs and sculpture.
